Our basic slip dress is perfection in its simplicity. Made from our light aran cotton for the most breathable, comfortable wear you have ever felt, these are perfect for the Australian Summer. It is cut on the bias for a feminine, flattering line. With its thin, adjustable straps, it has an easy fit and will allow you to adjust the neckline depending on whether you wish to wear it bare, or layered with one of your favourite white or bold-coloured tees underneath.

 The white contrast print on our true indigo colourway makes this slip wear like denim, but much lighter weight and more durable. The sun print is reminiscent of Fremantle as a vibrant city, and the indigo colour reminds us of the port of Fremantle. This dress will take you from day to night with a change of accessories, and from summer to winter with a polo or mock neck underneath. So comfortable even that you might just wear it to bed! The Sun Print is designed by local, independent Glass Fusing artist, Amanda Conway, who moved to Fremantle in 2006 with her Husband Shannon from Worcestershire, England. Amanda also works in Resin and more recently has gotten back into Sewing, which is what makes her such a versatile, talented artist. The Sun Print for her represents the vibrancy of the Fremantle lifestyle and community, and celebrates everyone who makes Fremantle a unique place in the world!

As always, our garments are designed in Fremantle, Western Australia. Made ethically from 100% hand-loomed Khadi Cotton in Pushkar, India by The Stitching Project. Designs are hand carved onto wooden blocks. Then Pawan, our block printer at The Stitching Project places each block onto the ink board. This process is repeated a hundred times over with amazing precision and experience to create the perfect patterns.

All of our dyes are Global Organic Textile Standards (G.O.T.S) Certified, and our fabric and processes are Craftmark Certified. Each of our Garments is proudly signed by every craftsperson who has had a hand in making it.
