An exquisite diamond, ruby and pearl ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold and topped in sterling, this mixed metals piece adorns two pearls and a single diamond that?rest vertically along the front. The creamy white natural pearls are set at the top and bottom of the design, while the sparkling old Mine Cut diamond is bezel set in sterling silver at the center. The diamond has an approximate weight of 0.20ct and displays J/K color and SI2 clarity, perfectly complimenting the lustrous pearls. Beautiful open wirework frames the trio in an elongated manner, creating a delicate yet striking symmetrical design. At the top and bottom, encircling each pearl, are two crescent shaped motifs which are silver topped and lined in old Rose Cut diamonds. Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 5.25" but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures a?little more than 7/8" tall,?about 1/2" wide, and rests 1/8" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1.5mm wide?at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold and sterling silver setting and all of the diamonds, rubies and pearls are intact and securely set.?The ring reveals a distinct darkened patina, which is common given the age of the piece and?showcases the stones perfectly, however, the patina could be polished off, if desired.?
